Before you start

A strategy game for a small group

Bring 3–4 friends together to negotiate, plan routes and trade resources. This is a strategy session with rules to learn; for a first icebreaker at work, try Describe & Guess in the game collection.

Can I play with bots?

Yes. One human and two simple computer captains can start a game, with up to four seats. Computers use only their own cargo and the public chart.

How do I win?

Ports and upgraded ports score points, while shipping contracts add prestige. Reach 12 points during your action phase to win, or lead the score after 24 rounds.

Do we need a shared screen or physical pieces?

Each human needs a connected phone, with no physical board. An optional screen shows the shared chart while phones keep cargo private. Phones also support the complete game on their own.

New phone, or a slow device?

Choose “Change device” in the menu and use the single-use code within 10 minutes to take your seat on the new phone. If the old phone is gone, join the same room with the same name on the new one. The 3D islands are drawn on your device: pick the power-saving quality, stop the waves or switch to the 2D chart.
