Start a game with friends in three steps

1. One friend enters a nickname, chooses the map and game length, then creates a room.
2. Share the invitation link, QR code or six-character room code. Each friend joins on their own device.
3. Two human players can start together. For solo practice, add at least one computer. Once everyone is ready, the host starts the game.

Is it free, and do I need to download or sign up?

Island Tycoon is a free browser board game made by AdriaIsland. Enter a nickname to create or join a room, with no download or signup. Island coins are only for the game; there are no real-money top-ups or cash-outs.

How do I play with friends online?

Create a room with a nickname, then invite friends by QR, link or six-character room code. Each person uses a connected phone. Players can join from different networks; voice chat is not built in.

Can two people play, or can I play alone?

Rooms have 2–6 seats with humans, simple computer players or a mix. Two friends can start together. To learn on your own, add at least one computer player.

Which map and game length should we choose?

The 28-space Island Ramble map is recommended for 2–4 players and defaults to 60 minutes. The 40-space Ocean Islands map suits 4–6 and defaults to 120. Choose 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes; pauses do not count. When time is up the round is completed, then the host settles or adds 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Each turn has 3 minutes.

Do we need a TV or shared screen?

No. Phones provide the complete board and every action. The optional shared display is read-only and uses no player seat. Phones keep control of purchases, trades and private cards. Pinch to zoom, twist to rotate the 3D island, find your piece or switch to the lighter 2D board. Collapse the board for controls only.
